We have started our business in 2005 by launching the factory in Trabzon, Of, the factory with the largest fresh tea processing capacity in Turkey under the name of Aktarim. Then we carried out the tea marketing with tea production and packaging by Aktarim brand with Akpaş Çay, which was established in 2014. When we came to 2019, we continued our Akpaş Çay business with new name as Efor Çay. In 2021 we continue our production, packaging and marketing activities as Efor Çay with the forces of Aktarim and Efor Çay being joint together.
Today, we have become one of Turkey's 500 largest companies and one of the top 5 tea brands with annual production of 60 thousand tons and 49 000 square meters production area across the country. We have two fresh tea processing facilities and three packaging facilities: tea processing and packaging in Of, Trabzon, packaging plant in Artvin Arhavi 1, tea processing in Artvin Arhavi 2 and packaging plant in Tuzla, Istanbul. We realise about 10% of the annual tea sales in our country.
Since the day we were founded, we have been acting with the principle of "quality of tea with no compromise". We strictly track the entire way of tea processing from soil to glass, and offer our customers 100 percent natural and high quality teas for affordable prices. Being aware of the traditional value of tea, Efor Çay has become the favorite of countless consumers with high consumer satisfaction rate. We continue our R&D studies to bring new flavors to our industry and customers. We are working hard to bring Turkish tea, supported with domestic production, to the fore in the international arena, and to deliver tea varieties that we grow and accurate process in the fertile lands of the Black Sea to all over the world. It operates in a 21.000 m2 area in Trabzon Of, with a daily processing capacity of 550 tons of fresh tea and 132 tons of packaging capacity.
8.200 m2 area in Artvin Arhavi with a daily 50 tons fresh tea processing capacity and 15 tons packaging capacity.
Based in Artvin Arhavi, it covers 16.000 m2 area with daily capacity of 240 tons tea processing and 26 tons tea packaging.
The plant of 4000 m2 in İstanbul, Tuzla, where 26 tons of tea are being packed every day.
